CAED organized a one-day interaction with federal, provincial, and local government representatives and civil society on the implementation of the Compulsory and Free Education Act 2018 and its Regulation 2020. The program highlighted that only 7.13% of the budget is allocated to education in Karnali Province, and participants emphasized the need to increase it to at least 20% for effective implementation.
CAED, in collaboration with Thrive for Good - India successfully conducted a three-day training on home garden at Shree Laliguras Secondary School, Nau, Dailekh. The training focused on soil preparation, compost making, pest management, and efficient vegetable production.

Bimala Basnet was selected as a Child Activist in 2023. Since then she has become more regular in her school attendance and has taken responsibility for her family's small kitchen garden, raising chickens and growing vegetables provided by the Program.
